Quite simply, routhost support rocks. Routhost was hosting content for a domain name of mine that expired. Instead of renewing the old domain I wanted another domain of mine to point to the existing content. I thought it'd involve opening a new account, setting everything up, dropping the data into the new location etc. etc. Instead Routhost's excellent support staff got in touch with me after I mailed them about my quandary and simply shuffled things around so my working domain pointed to the old content. Voila, problem solved and the information is accessible again. I've been amazed at the quick response to my queries and the help that has been provided. Routhost customer support epitomize the concept of customer care and I don't hesitate in recommending them to anyone after affordable hosting with excellent support staff. Keep up the good work guys and once again, thank you for all your help.

More highly reliable bang for the buck! Rout Host really delivers and in the rare instances where there is a problem (which usually turns out to be human error on my part) they get back with a response or a fix almost immediately. You can pay more for less, but this host has worked for me for the past two and a half years. Twice during that time I was promoting my site during a three hour interview on the world's most listened to late night radio show, Coast to Coast AM, which has an audience of ten million. My site got hundreds of thousands of hits and did not come down! Most guests on this show have thier site crash before they even get on the air, so that tells you something. If you want more for less without sacrificing anything in quality, reliability or service then this is the host for you.

My name is Bill Hamel, and I have been a Host Excellence customer for more than a year.My primary reason for having a website was not for business means, but rather as a promotional tool to "sell" myself as an excellent candidate for a job out of college. I was not proficient at website building, nor did I have the time to learn how to make my site marketable. But people can get an idea of my skill as a web designer, and what MORE I offer by going to my primary website, which is hosted by RoutHost.com, and the website address is www.billhamel.net . And although website development isn't my primary activity, it has become more than I ever expected it to be.Just before I joined RoutHost, I had been doing some web building with free webspace provided to me by the University of Iowa, however knowing I was graduating, I needed another solution. The free webspace I was using had a fair amount of downtime, no customer support, and a limited amount of webspace available to me. So after doing some homework and reviewing hosting companies, I read a lot of reviews for RoutHost on different websites. They offered great pricing, customer service, and feature packages...and so I decided to give them a try.I chose the Silver plan just in case I wanted to do future expansion onto my site and for the bandwidth provided. I had no problems getting my domain transferred from the registrar, and in minutes I was up and running a website...one that was very basic and bland, however.As I began building my new website, I was really impressed with the Control Panel. It was definitely feature rich, user friendly, and easy to navigate. It has a really intuitive design, and that makes it a breeze to use, even from the beginning. And the number of options it lets me control from one screen has significantly simplified my web mastering activities. Its update speed is probably the fastest I've ever seen. I particularly appreciate the level of control I have over the back-end functions of my data-driven web applications. Things like creating and managing the largest database of photos of the tornado that ripped through Iowa City, IA in early 2006. Setting up a gallery, user ratings, user access rights, etc was a breeze using the Coppermine photo gallery application included.I'm currently not making use of the massive amount of bandwidth allocated to my account, but it's really great knowing that I have the scalability available should I need it. As the amount of photos I have collected increases, I know I will be able to make use of that bandwidth. Having an affordable hosting company that can handle anywhere from 100,000-200,000 hits/month, continually updated software and hardware, and a knowledgeable support staff has really made owning and creating a website that much easier for me.

I've never had paid hosting before & I'm very happy with my first choice when it came to hosting my own domain. Wow! I can say this is an awesome host! I had so many plans for my site and Routhost offered so many tools that my plans came to fruition, along with so many more extras. I do have some technical problems at the moment, but the support team is great at answering me promptly and doing their best to help me out. I only hope my problems are not ISP-based...but that's another story...With routhost's myriad of tools, my site has more features than I could ever dream of creating on my own.
